Synopsis

The textbook briefly presents the main provisions and laws of magnetism. It considers the characteristics of the magnetic field, its sources, and the features of material magnetization. The classification, structure, and properties of magnetic materials are presented, as well as their behavior and parameters in constant and alternating magnetic fields. Several examples of the practical application of magnetic materials are described. To consolidate the material, solutions to practical problems are provided.

The textbook is intended for bachelor’s and magister’s students specializing in information and measurement technologies, as well as for researchers.
