Technologies for strengthening and restoring machine parts
Keywords:
gas-thermal spraying, welding of parts, laser processing, surface modification, plasma processing, SHS-processSynopsis
The textbook covers modern technologies for strengthening and restoring machine parts, which are currently undergoing rapid development. These include gas thermal spraying, laser and electron beam surface modification, plasma treatment, and ion implantation. New materials used for strengthening machine parts and the technologies for obtaining them are considered, such as the use of the SHS process for the synthesis of composite materials used for gas-thermal coating methods and in arc welding processes, nanomaterials, and nanotechnologies. The material is presented at a high scientific level that is also accessible to students.
Intended for full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students majoring in G 8 “Materials Science”.
