Synopsis

The training manual considers a set of topics related to the methodological foundations and tools for creating and using databases using the Microsoft SQL Server database management system. The basics of the query language, data types, creating a database and its main objects, tools for displaying database objects and all their characteristics are considered. Methods of designing, creating and changing the structure of a database are shown; data manipulation tools, using of views, stored procedures, triggers, transactions are considered. Examples of creating tools for working with databases at the end-user level are considered.

Intended for students studying in the specialties F2 "Software Engineering" and F3 "Computer Science".
