Synopsis

The publication presents theoretical foundations and practical approaches to integrating the MySQL relational database management system into SCADA systems. The architecture of computer-integrated control systems, data storage and processing, and real-time data transmission are considered. The use of Change Data Capture for extracting database changes and transferring them to SCADA systems is described, including Apache Kafka, Debezium, Node-RED, and MQTT. Practical implementation examples in a Windows environment using SCADA Ignition and OPC UA are provided.
