One-dimensional optimization methods and algorithms

The theory and methods of one-dimensional optimization are considered. The theory of necessary and sufficient conditions for the extremum of a function of one variable is presented. The justification for the construction, theoretical description and algorithms of more than ten basic methods of one-dimensional optimization are given. Algorithms are provided to facilitate the study of methods and speed up the performance of laboratory works. Problems for laboratory work are given.
