Synopsis

The textbook contains theoretical materials on the topic ‘Analysis of transients in linear circuits’ of the disciplines ‘Theoretical foundations of electrical engineering’, ‘Theory of electric and magnetic circuits’, ‘Theory of electric circuits’, ‘Theory of electromagnetic circuits’, ‘Fundamentals of electrical engineering and electronics’. The basic principles of classical, time, operator and spectral methods of analysis are provided and examples of their practical application for first- and second-order circuits under constant, sinusoidal and pulsed influence are given.
