Synopsis

The monograph is devoted to the study of thermal processes in technological fluids of cylindrical grinding machines and their influence on the accuracy of ground parts. A mathematical model of the system of application of a lubricating and cooling fluid (LCF) of a cylindrical grinding machine has been developed. A grinding scheme with additional intermediate dressings (IED) of the grinding wheel and computer programs that implement mathematical models have been proposed. Studies of the thermal regime of the grinding head have been carried out and its influence on the accuracy of ground parts has been determined. A device for supplying the LCF to the grinding zone has been proposed, which protects the grinding head from heated LCF and reduces errors in the spindle position.

For scientists, postgraduates, cadets and students interested in issues of reducing thermal deformations of elements of the technological system during cylindrical grinding.
